Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
Sensori Neurotech builds recovery technology around people, so protecting their data is part of the product, not an afterthought. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
Sensori Neurotech is the controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@sensorineurotech.com. We are based in Belgium.
2. Data we collect
Website: we process the information you send us through contact forms or email (name, organisation, email address, message) and basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
SensoriPod and Sensori OS: during a session, our contactless sensors measure physiological signals (for example movement, heart-rate variability derived signals and ambient conditions) to adapt light, sound, heat and haptics in real time. These signals are processed on encrypted onboard compute to deliver the session. Where data is used for analysis or service improvement, it is pseudonymised, anonymised and scrambled so it cannot identify you.
Research: when you take part in a study or pilot, we process the data described in the separate information and consent documents for that study.
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis
To answer your questions and manage our relationship with you (legitimate interest, or performance of a contract).
To deliver and personalise a recovery session (performance of a contract; explicit consent where health-related data is involved).
To improve our research, products and safety (legitimate interest, using aggregated or anonymised data wherever possible).
To comply with legal, accounting and product-safety obligations (legal obligation).
4. Privacy by design
We work contactless and camera-free by default. Raw session processing runs on encrypted onboard compute in the pod, and any data used for analysis is pseudonymised, anonymised and scrambled so it cannot identify you. We do not sell personal data and we do not use session data for advertising.
5. Sharing and processors
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, email, analytics, research partners), each bound by a data processing agreement. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep contact and enquiry data for up to two years after our last contact, session and research data for the period stated in the relevant study documents, and invoicing data for the statutory period of seven years.
7. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@sensorineurotech.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
8. Security and changes
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access control, encryption in transit and minimisation. If we materially change this policy, we will update the date above and, where required, notify you directly.
